Garland Employee Arrives at Work to Open Store And Uncovers Another Staff Member Deceased

A Garland bicycle store employee walked into work on Thursday morning and entered the crime scene where another employee was found dead.

At around 9:06 a.m., Garland Police responded to Don Johle’s Bike World off Broadway Boulevard after an employee reported a suspicious scene. The employee stated that when he arrived at the location to open the business, he noticed the internal metal gates open and the main door locked.

Officers entered the store and found a deceased male inside who was later identified as an employee.

The death is currently being investigated as a homicide.
