Fugitive Wanted For Murder of 17 Year Old Indiana Girl is Arrested in Collin County

A 17-year-old wanted from Indians for the murder of a 17-year-old female was arrested in Collin County on January 9th.

The Collin County GHOST Unit, U.S. Marshals, Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force, and The Texas Department of Public Safety worked together to locate and apprehend Raymond Washington III.

Washington was wanted out of the state of Indiana on several warrants for the July 2023 murder of a 17-year-old.

He is accused of conspiring with two other individuals to rob and then kill the female.

Washington is charged with two counts of Murder, including Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and Firearm used in Commission of Offense/SBI/Death Results.

He was taken to the Collin County Detention Center and subsequently extradited back to Indiana where he remains with no bond.
