Frisco Realtor,Jenna Ryan Can No Longer Raise Money On PayPal After Her Involvement At Capitol Hill Riot
Jenna Ryan, the Frisco realtor who took a private plane to the U.S. Capitol, can no longer accept donations via PayPal. Jenna has been charged in her role during the deadly riots that happened on Jan 6.
Ryan’s account was shut down after she asked supporters online for help with legal costs. According to PayPal, it does not allow people to send money for assistance with legal costs, but the company said it froze the account because the funds would be used for other non-defense items.
“PayPal thoroughly reviews accounts, and if we learn that funds are used for anything other than legal defense, the account will be subject to immediate closure,” a spokesperson said in an email.
Ryan had hoped for a pardon in her role at the Capitol before Trump left office Wednesday, but unfortunately, that did not happen.
Ryan is currently charged with “Knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority” and “disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.”
Ryan, along with several others, arrived by private plane from Denton, Texas to Washington D.C., and in a live social media post, made alarming threats to storm the U.S. Capitol and posted numerous photos and videos of her at the capitol during the deadly riot involving Trump extremists.
A video Ryan posted the day of the riot to her Facebook accounts shows her speaking into a mirror and saying, “We’re gonna go down and storm the Capitol. They’re down there right now and that’s why we came and so that’s what we are going to do. So wish me luck.”
She was taken into custody last week, she was released shortly after.
