French Bus Driver Beaten To Death After Asking Passengers To Wear Face Covering

On Saturday, the wife of a French Bus Driver calls for an “Exemplary Punishment” for his killers who had beaten him to death when he had asked them to wear a face mask aboard the vehicle he was operating.
Philippe Monguillot’s assault has scandalized France, Saturday President Emmanuel Macron dispatched the interior minister to meet the widow of the deceased bus driver after his death was announced on Friday, he had been previously hospitalized due to injuries from the  July 5th attack.
Veronique Monguillot, the bus driver widow, has told the minister Gerald Darmanin, that their three daughters and herself were “destroyed” by the attack of her husband at the bus stop at Bayonne, Southwest France.
She stated that “We must bang a fist on the table, so this never happens again. It’s barbaric, not normal. We must stop this massacre.”
It is stated by the Bayonne Prosecutor that Monguillot was assaulted after he had asked four passengers on his No. 810 bus to wear face masks, which are required aboard Fench Public Transport because of COVID-19. He was insulted and pushed off the bus and violently beaten and kicked in the head, stated by the Prosecutor.
These four have already been placed in Custody.
Darmanin has stated that “This bus driver was only doing his job, he left his home in the morning and did not come back, leaving a widow and three orphan girls. It is an absolutely odious act. ”
