Emily Garcia, a 29-year-old woman from Fort Worth, is facing murder charges after she pursued an SUV and crashed into it multiple times, resulting in a fatal accident that claimed the life of her boyfriend, 34-year-old Miguel Angel Moreno.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon, leading to Moreno’s death and leaving his brother-in-law with serious injuries.

Reports suggest that Garcia aggressively chased a Chevy Trailblazer, with Moreno as a passenger, repeatedly colliding with it as they drove. At times, she was on the wrong side of the road while continuing to ram the back of the Trailblazer until the driver lost control and crashed into a utility pole in the 3400 block of NE 28th Street.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 12:45 p.m., where Moreno was pronounced dead, and his brother-in-law was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition.

Garcia has been arrested and charged with murder. No bond has been set at this time.
