Fort Worth Police Officer Arrested In Saginaw On Suspicion Of Domestic Abuse

A Fort Worth officer was placed on restricted duty after being arrested by Saginaw police for domestic abuse.

The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning when officers responded to a domestic abuse call on the 1100 block of Parkhill Avenue.

Upon their arrival they saw a woman standing outside claiming she was physically attacked by her husband Derek Maly.

Saginaw police arrested Maly, who is also a Fort Worth police officer that was off duty at the time.

Fort Worth police said upon hearing about Maly’s case he was placed on restricted duty and stripped of all his police authority pending the outcome of the investigation.

No further details regarding his arrest have been released at this time.
