Fort Worth Man Sentenced to 50 Years for Murdering Wife, Leaving Five Children Without a Mother

FORT WORTH, Texas – Christopher Robertson, a Fort Worth man, has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty to the murder of his wife, Kristlynne Robertson. The 34-year-old woman was tragically found wrapped in a tarp inside their home, having been shot in the face, over a week after her death.

The crime came to light when Robertson’s brother returned home to a foul smell, leading to the discovery of Kristlynne’s body. Following a period of intoxication, Robertson confessed to shooting his wife and made calls expressing fear of repercussions from her family. The Tarrant County District Attorney highlighted the impact of this crime, noting that Kristlynne leaves behind five children who will grow up without their mother.
