Fort Worth Man Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison After Posing As A Teenage Boy And Sneaking In 14 Year Old Girls Bedroom Window
A 34-year-old man pretended to be a teenager in order to receive inappropriate pictures from seven minor girls. He has now been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison.
In January, Matthew Ray Flores, of Forth Worth, was charged, and in February, he pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography.
A federal judge handed down a 360-month sentence in prison.
Documents note that Flores took on the persona of a 15-year-old, using a different name. He then sought 12 to 17-year-old girls on social media. In 2019, he met a 14-year-old girl online and planned to see her at her residence. He then entered the girl’s bedroom window while her family was home.
When the girl saw how old Flores was, she requested that he leave. Days following that, he demanded that the girl provide sexually explicit pictures of herself. She later sent pictures of herself with clothes on but then sent nude photos, as well.
Authorities say that Flores then used the images against, telling her to let him back in the home or else.
Over the next three months, Flores threatened to post the photos online and sell them to rapist” if she didn’t provide more pictures. He went back to her residence with a condom when the girl refused to have sex with him and pushed him from her window.
“I’ll never be the same as I was before. I hated myself for so long, feeling so confused and alone because of him,” the victim stated in court, on Thursday.
During the sentencing hearing, it was found that Flores exhibited the same behavior to at least seven other victims.
He will serve his punishment in federal prison.
