A Fort Worth man is facing murder charges after he shot and killed a woman that was stealing property from his home.
The incident happened Sunday morning on Dallas Ave when Ngon Dinh,44 says he saw motion in his front lawn from his security cameras.
He says he then grabbed his gun to go see what was going on.
When he walked outside he told police he saw someone taking a red wagon out of his front yard and yelled for them to get on the ground when the suspect did not comply he shot multiple shots striking them.
During the investigation officers reviewed Dinh’s security footage and saw that the victim, Ana Olivia, did indeed attempt to steal the wagon but dropped it when confronted by Dinh.
The footage also shows Dinh shooting four or five rounds at her as she ran away.
Dinh later told police that he was blind in one eye and had 70% vision in the other so he did not know if the victim was male or female.
After reviewing the video police believe Dinh intentionally or knowingly caused Olivo’s death by shooting her multiple times.
