Fort Worth Gang Member Sentenced to 75 Years In Prison For Murder of Arlington Martin High School Student
A Fort Worth gang member was sentenced to 75 years in prison on Friday for the 2020 shooting death of an Arlington High School Student.
Despite being acquitted on the murder charge, Adrian Robinson was found guilty on charges of organized criminal activity-deadly conduct and organized criminal activity-murder on Thursday.
The Tarrant County jury says they couldn’t come to an agreement on the murder charge, so the judge ruled it a mistrial for that charge.
The 21-year-old member of the Lake Como Crips opened fire from the backseat of a vehicle and shot and killed 17-year-old Cheyenne Moore, a student at Arlington Martin High School.
Prosecutors say Robinson targeted Moore and carried out the shooting to get a ranking within his gang.
Robinson received 75 years and 20 years, the sentences will run concurrently.
