Fort Worth Fire Captain Passes Away At 57

The Fort Worth Fire Department announced the passing of their own Fire Captain Thaddeus Raven.

Captain Raven, 57 was with the city of Fort Worth for 25 years. He was an outstanding firefighter and leader and served as the head of recruitment.

As a result of Raven’s hard work, in 2022 the department hired the most diverse class of fire recruits in its history.

The department posted to Facebook “Captain Raven’s legacy with the Fort Worth Fire Department will not soon be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.”

No further details regarding Captain Raven’s death have been released at this time.
