A former Texas deputy Sheriff plead guilty to sexually exploiting a 12 year old Massachusetts girl he met online while playing Minecraft.
Twenty-six year old Pasquale Salas admitted from a video conference in federal court in Worcester, that he had been sexually exploiting a minor as well as cyberstalking.
He worked for Matagorda County Sheriff Office southwest of Houston, when he met the Worcester County girl in 2014 while playing the Minecraft game online.
Here he coerced her into sending many explicit photos and videos of herself through a private chat room.
He threatened to send the images to her family, as well as threatening to harm her sister when she tried to break communications with him. He found her whereabouts through Snapchat and proceeded to control what she wore as well.
She was seventeen when she went to authorities for help last June.
There was also a second victim the former Deputy Sheriff met online playing Minecraft and authorities say she was also twelve when they met and he coerced her into sending images of herself to him as well.
Salas is expected to have a trial sentencing on Sept. 3.
