Former Dallas City Council Carolyn Davis Killed By Suspected Drunk Driver

Former Dallas City Council member Carolyn Davis,57 was killed Monday night in a wrong way crash and her daughter Melissa Nunn,26 was critically injured.
The accident happened near Ledbetter and Veterans Dr in Oakcliff when Davis and her daughter were traveling west bound on Ledbetter and suspected drunk driver Jonathan Moore,36 crashed head on into them.
Davis was transported to Baylor Dallas where she died from her injuries and her daughter remains in critical condition.
Moore was also transported to the hospital where he remains hospitalized. He is facing charges of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.
Moore has had 3 prior DWI’s and just recently had an interlock removed from his vehicle.
