Two women have claimed that ex-boxer George Foreman sexually assaulted them in the 1970s. This is according to civil lawsuits filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Court records note that the alleged occurrences happened when the women were 13 and 16 and that Foreman had sexual Intercourse with them.
Although Foreman wasn’t identified in the suit, information that was given was sufficient enough to name him as the supposed abuser.
Foreman, 73, has stated that the claims are untrue and said that the women are attempting to extort money from his family.
The women who are now in their 60s are looking for damages for sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. One of the women was the daughter of a boxing manager. She says that her father’s job was threatened if she didn’t agree to engage in sexual acts with Foreman.
Both women have requested a trial jury.
