Florida Veterinarian Receives 22 Years In Prison For Child Pornography And Bestiality Offenses

Prentiss Madden, a Florida veterinarian, has been given 272 months locked up for collecting child pornography and abusing dogs sexually.

He was apprehended in March and pleaded guilty to the crimes.

Officials discovered thousands of photos of male infants and toddlers having sexual encounters with adult men in his possession. He also had videos of himself having sex with dogs. He had shared these online.

When his employer was notified about the investigation, he was terminated from his position as a medical director at Caring Hands Animal Hospital.

At Friday’s sentencing, he apologized for the actions, noting he himself was sexually abused as a child. He said he also saw his mother get beaten by his stepfather.

“This is never who I planned to be or thought I would be. It does not represent who I am as a person,” he stated.
