Florida Man Arrested After Allegedly Throwing A One Year Old Out The Window

A Florida man has been arrested on attempted murder charges after he threw a one year old baby out of a window and beat his girlfriend .
According to reports the incident happened Saturday when officers responded to a call on the 2700 block of Northwest 12th Court.
Upon arrival authorities found a one year old girl laying face down in the yard.
Once inside they found a woman that says she was sleeping when Pierre Gabriel Francois,29 angrily came in punching walls.
She said he then pulled out a 2×4 piece of wood and began beating her.
He then pulled out a knife and stabbed her in the eyes.
The infant was intubated and unresponsive and placed on life support at the hospital where she suffers traumatic brain damage.
The mother was also intubated and unresponsive with a large laceration on her neck and bandages on her face. A nurse treating her said she had a laceration to her trachea, a laceration on her liver, multiple lacerations to her face, and stab wounds on her eyes. The nurse said she would be blind as a result.
The suspects mother told police that her son suffers from severe schizophrenia and was able to get away to a neighbors house to contact police.
Francois was arrested on two counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated assault. He is being held on $550,000 bail.
