On Saturday evening, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a driver of a black SUV went into a parking lot and performed a reverse-donut maneuver. This resulted in 5 people being left with life-threatening wounds. A majority of the injuries that were incurred were of those who had been leaning out of the car’s windows when the vehicle had turned over.
As the driver had been going backward in the car during a sharp turn, the car went over on its side, ending up on passengers. After the crash, several people ran over to the scene to try to turn the car upright, in order to lift it off of those affected.
A viral recording of the vehicle crushing several people has been circulating the internet. Extreme discretion has been advised when viewing it.
Colorado Springs PD officers have now apprehended the driver, Marisol Wentling. She was not hurt in the crash.
