Five people within one family were discovered dead in Washington state on Sunday. The incident has been labeled a murder-suicide after someone disclosed to authorities that one of the family members had messaged them stating that they had “harmed others” at the residence.
At about 1 p.m. on Sunday, police were called out to conduct a welfare check at the Vancouver residence. When authorities arrived on the scene, they couldn’t reach anyone, leading them to request assistance from the tactical team.
With the use of a drone, deputies learned that multiple individuals inside the residence were probably deceased.
Eventually, tactical teams and emergency medics forced entry into the residence and discovered that the five people had been shot and killed. The killings seemed to be murder-suicide, deputies stated. The suspected killer was discovered next their four dead family members.
The names of the deceased haven’t been publicly released.
