On September 1, Senate Bill 379 will go into effect after being passed by the Texas Legisture at the beginning of the year.
The bill will make family and wound care products exempt from sales tax. These items include wound care dressings, adult or children’s diapers, baby wipes, baby bottles, feminine hygiene products, maternity clothing, and breast milk pumping items.
Reports indicate that the new law will cost the state close to $227 million in general revenue funds through August 31, 2025.
As a single with no “burdens on society” (kids) where’s my tax break? Im sick of it.
I dont know who you’re calling burdens on society, but you better be specific ma’am….my children aren’t burdens on society. Rude!!!!!
Seriously like what is your problem you are the most antagonistic person that uses this app everything that you type is always negative
Once you need adult diapers youll’ see that break. Assuming you don’t currently use feminine hygiene products.
Yea, burdens on society is a little harsh.
