Female Employee Injured In Elevator Accident At JPS Hospital

A JPS hospital employee was seriously injured in an elevator accident at the hospital early Sunday morning.
According to reports Ft.Worth Fire Department responded to a call at the hospital located on the 1500 block of S. Main St for an elevator rescue in the purple tower, but when they arrived the woman had already been removed and transported to the emergency room with serious injuries.
The hospital refused to release any information regarding the patients name or the severity of her injuries.
They have currently shut down the purple tower elevators until they have been inspected by state.
