The father of an infant killed in a Kansas house fire over the weekend has been charged with murder.
On Sunday, firefighters responded to a house fire around 1am on West 69th Terrace.
Upon arrival they immediately began to put the fire out.
Once the fire was extinguished firefighters found an infant inside the residence deceased.
The infants father Nicholas Adam Ecker,28 was later arrested and charged with murder, aggravated arson, felony stalking, domestic aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm.
He is being held on a $1 million bond.
