Dallas police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead outside a Dallas club early Monday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting on the 1700 block of Botham Jean Blvd around 5am.
Upon arrival they found a man lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot to the neck.
He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.
There was an altercation near the parking lot when the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot the victim.
Security from the club were able to detain the suspect until officers arrived.
This investigation remains ongoing.
