A man is dead and 3 juveniles and an adult are in custody after a high speed chase ended in a fatal crash early Wednesday morning.
Officers attempted to pull over the stolen vehicle when the vehicle suddenly fled from police and started a chase.
At approximately 1:34 am the stolen vehicle ran a red light heading westbound on 3400 Great Trinity Forest Way and and crashed into a white Chevrolet Impala at 4900 Wadsworth Drive. The chase ended and the driver, a black male, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The 14-year old black male driver of the stolen vehicle, two other juvenile passengers, and one adult passenger were all apprehended and taken to a local hospital in stable conditions.
The suspects remain in custody.
