A family is asking for answers after their loved one was struck and killed by two vehicles in Little Elm last week during a hit and run.

The incident occurred on November 1, shortly after 8 pm when officers were dispatched to the 26700 block of East University Drive.

Upon arriving they found a female victim, 41 year old Rosita Sherfield, deceased at the scene.

According to Sherfield’s family she was a mother of 8 and liked to take walks at night to clear her mind.

As of now authorities have no suspects. Police released a description of both vehicles saying one is a dark colored suv and the other is described as a white Honda car, possibly a civic.

Anyone with information regarding this hit and run is asked to contact Little Elm PD or call 911.
