Ex-NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, 36, was apprehended in Las Vegas on Tuesday, at 7:25 a.m., for suspicion of driving under the influence.
The Las Vegas Police Department stated that they stopped Lynch at Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Ave. They then found that Lynch was “impaired and conducted an arrest.”
Documents note that Lynch’s bail was set at $3,381. He was cited for failure to refuse/surrender, failure to drive in a travel lane, and the vehicle he was driving was unregistered.
In 2012, Lynch was arrested for driving under the influence in Oakland, California. In 2014, he pled guilty to reckless driving.
Before retiring in 2019, Lynch played with the Buffalo Bills for four seasons and was the game’s greatest running back while playing for the Seattle Seahawks.
Lynch’s apprehension comes nearly 24 hours after Seattle noted that the All-Pro would be a special correspondent for the team this upcoming season. The job entails making innovative content for several projects.
