Ex-Cheerleading Coach Arrested After Having Sex With Daughter’s 16-Year-Old Boyfriend 300 Times
45-year-old Jennifer Hawkins, a former cheerleading coach in Oklahoma, has been apprehended. This comes after being accused of having sex with her daughter’s former 16-year-old boyfriend. Authorities say that she did so over 300 times.
On Wednesday, Hawkins was charged with second-degree rape and sexual battery. This was after 5-years worth of sexual encounters between the two were exposed.
Investigators began looking into the matter in January. Then, the supposed victim, now 21, accused the Moore Public Schools cheer coach of rape.
He disclosed to detectives that Hawkins first approached him about sex in 2017 as he was dating her daughter back then. He stated that the two had sex almost everyday at her residence while he was on lunch breaks during his sophomore and junior year. He added that he and the coach had sex over 300 times from 2017 to 2022.
For proof, he revealed text messages between them, including some that showed Hawkins becoming angry if she believed that he had been looking at other females.
Although she initially denied the allegations, Hawkins later confessed to the encounters.
Hawkins was terminated from the school district in January when the accusations were brought forth.
“The safety and security of MPS students and employees is our foremost concern. MPS school officials will continue to assist law enforcement in their investigation of this matter,” the district noted.
