Eggs from a Wisconsin farm have been recalled due to a salmonella outbreak that has sickened dozens of individuals. The outbreak spans nine states and has impacted 65 people so far, as reported by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Of those affected, 24 individuals have required hospitalization.

The states involved in the outbreak are Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Virginia, Colorado, Utah, and California.

Details regarding the recalled eggs, according to the CDC, include:

– Labeled as “Milo’s Poultry Farms” or “Tony’s Fresh Market”
– Sold to various stores and restaurants in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois
– Includes all types of chicken eggs, such as cage-free and organic
– Applies to all case and carton sizes
– Covers all expiration dates

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is currently investigating the salmonella outbreak.
