Drunk Driver Attempts To Switch Places With Dog So He Wouldn’t Be Arrested

Authorities in Colorado say that a man, who was stopped for speeding, attempted to switch places with his dog so that he wouldn’t be apprehended.

An officer observed him moving inside of the vehicle prior to getting on the passenger side on Saturday evening.

The man told authorities that he was not driving, and he was seemingly drunk. He fled from authorities when they questioned whether or not he had been drinking but was caught a few minutes later.

The man was transported to a medical facility to be checked out. He was then apprehended and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and driving while ability impaired. He also had other warrants for his arrest.
