The city of Plano received multiple calls of an alligator that was seen early Monday on the George Bush Tollway.
However, when the Plano Animal Shelter employees went to the scene in the westbound lanes, they were in for a big surprise.
After investigating, animal shelter workers found out that it wasn’t really an alligator but a toy that looked exactly like the real thing.
Workers then retrieved the toy and took it back to their office to place as a part of their Easter decorations.
It isn’t known who the toy belonged to.
