A man was killed after police say he was ejected in a rollover crash in Dallas Sunday night.
Dallas Police Department responded to reports of a crash on southbound Walton Walker Blvd at the Spur 408 split at around 11:50 p.m. When officers arrived, they discovered an overturned SUV and a man lying in the road.
The victim, identified as the driver, was transported to Methodist Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
According to reports, the SUV, which was occupied by a male driver and a male passenger, was traveling south when the vehicle lost control, collided with the guardrail and overturned.
The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle onto the highway. The male passenger wearing a seatbelt escaped without injury.
