DPD Officer Turns Herself In For Tampering With Evidence Charges

A senior corporal with Dallas PD turned herself in to a Desoto jail Saturday afternoon.
According to records Senior Corporal Angel Herring,47 turned herself into Tri City Jail in Desoto and was charged with tampering with physical evidence.
Authorities have not elaborated on which incident her charge is connected with.
Herring has been placed on administrative leave by Internal Affairs Division pending the outcome of the investigation.
She has been with the department since May of 2004 and worked in the legal service unit.
