DPD Officer Dragged By Vehicle Following Traffic Stop

A Dallas police officer was injured Saturday afternoon after being dragged several feet by a vehicle.
Officers responded to a call on the 4200 block of Maple Ave about two men possibly selling drugs.
Officers located the suspects vehicle and made w routine traffic stop and realized the suspects were both wanted felons.
When officers tried to arrest the suspects the driver put the vehicle in drive and drove off at a high rate of speed.
An officer was dragged several feet and transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
