Jamarcus J. Richardson, 31, the person suspected in a double homicide in Louisiana, has turned himself in to authorities in Texas.
Shreveport police had been looking for Richardson as he was wanted on two counts of murder.
He is suspected of murdering Teola Booker and D’Angelo Hinton, both 41. The two victims were found deceased in a car on Monday, December 6.
Authorities had been called right before 12:45 a.m. that same day after someone reported hearing gunfire in the Mooretown community.
Police later located the bodies of the two people who had been shot several times.
Richardson was named a suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Mesquite police say that he surrendered on Wednesday, December 8. He went to police headquarters with his parents around 6 p.m. Close to 8:30 p.m., he was booked into the Dallas County Jail.
Richardson faces two counts of second-degree murder.
