A woman was shot in Los Angeles County as she delivered food in her car.
The victim was transported to a medical facility after suffering from gunshot wounds.
The woman said she was working for DoorDash, late Tuesday night, when she noticed a silver sedan trailing her. She said she was hit by gunfire several times in the stomach area as she dropped food off.
The victim, who has not been identified, was able to navigate to Orange County and call for assistance.
Earlier in the evening, a silver sedan was said to have followed someone else, slamming into the back of that car, shooting at it, and shattering its windows. Police think the people in this incident were also involved with the delivery driver shooting and maybe connected to gang activity.
DoorDash says that they are teaming up with ADT to improve security measures.
