Last month, an arm was discovered on a beach in Waukegan, Illinois. Now, DNA testing has confirmed that it belonged to 19-year-old Sade Robinson.

Robinson had been reported missing on April 2, and the arm was found on May 11.

Waukegan Alderman Keith Turner had received a great amount of backlash because he posted an image of the arm on social media.

33-year-old Maxwell Anderson is being held in jail and has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson of property other than a building. He has pled not guilty. It is believed that he killed and dismembered Robinson following their first date.

“Anderson needs to confess, and his parents need to come out of the shadows and get him to stand up for the truth. I want my daughter’s remains, so they should not have to spend eternity lost because of Anderson’s evil agenda,” stated Sade’s mother through the family’s attorney.
