DFW Restaurants Are Shutting Their Doors Temporarily As COVID-19 Cases Rise

6.3kviews

Many restaurants around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex are temporarily closing, again, because of the rise in COVID-19 cases.

For two years now, restaurants have been dealing with the effects of the pandemic. This includes state-mandated closures, labor shortages, rising costs in materials, and supply chain problems.

Many workers have been infected with the virus previously and some restaurants think of the holidays as “peak” season.

Some of the restaurants that will close temporarily include Amor Y Queso and Uchi in Dallas and Easy Slider in Grapevine.

Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine and Pizza Verde in Forth Worth will also close their doors for a short time. This comes as cases of the omicron variant are increasing.
