Delaware Elementary Principal Creates Barbershop Type Atmosphere For His Students Inside The School

1.1kviews

A Delaware principal has found a new way to connect with his students by creating a barbershop like atmosphere inside the school.
Terrance Newton is the principal at Warner Elementary school and he has created a barbershop inside the school so that he can interact with his students while cutting their hair.
He believes this idea improves the students self esteem.
While cutting he allows other children to wait in line and chats with them all and hears their ideas and views on different things.
Newton says coming from a diverse background, this safe space creates a sense of care and promotes a nourishing environment that is extremely good for the morale of kids.
