Deceased Woman’s Body Discovered Floating in Lake Lavon

Collin County Sheriff’s Office recovered a deceased females body floating in the Lavonia Park area of Lake Lavon Wednesday afternoon.
Wylie police Department contacted investigators around 2pm and the woman’s body was transported to the Collin County Medical Examiners office for autopsy.
Her identity has not been released at this time.
This investigation is ongoing.
