Darius Fields has been found guilty of organized criminal activity in connection to the 2017 abduction and killing of Shavon Randle and Michael Titus.

On Monday, the 13-year-old girl’s mother had taken the stand.

Fields was accused of organizing the kidnapping because of $250,000 of stolen drugs that didn’t involve the young girl.

As her mother testified, she was extremely emotional, causing some relatives to exit the courtroom.

“I don’t know. I didn’t know what to do, y’all,” Shavon’s mother, Shaquna Persley stated.

She said that in the summer of 2017, she had gotten 3 missed calls from Shavon. However, when she returned the call, she never got a response.

That’s when she found out that Shavon had been taken.

Eventually, Randle’s bullet-riddled body was discovered in an unoccupied house in Dallas.

Jean Molina, a jailhouse informant, also testified. He said that Fields told him that marijuana had been stolen from him. He knew who had stolen it, and since they hadn’t listened to him, he had to “do the little b—-.”

Molina added that Fields never went into specifics about what he actually did. However, he did state that Fields was bragging about what happened and didn’t seem concerned.

“Who benefits from this? Whose drugs are they?” the prosecutor asked the jury on Tuesday. He then pointed to Fields.

Defense lawyers had said that there was no evidence to prove that Fields planned the crime.

But, prosecutors stated that cell phone records placed him with other suspects during the planning stages, plus he had motive.

On Wednesday, the sentencing hearing will take place.

Fields has already been given an 18-year sentence on federal weapons violations in relation to the matter.

No one has been charged with Shavon’s murder.
