Dallas Woman Arrested After Leading Police On 7 Mile Chase Through Sulphur Springs

A 29 year old Dallas woman was arrested Saturday afternoon after leading Troopers on a 7 mile chase.

According to reports the Trooper saw the woman on I-30E at mile marker 110 in Cumby.

He stopped and asked the woman if she needed assistance she then replied, “they shot him” and jumped back into her vehicle and drove away.

The trooper made later saw the woman driving by in Sulphur Springs at mile marker 122. He activated his lights and the woman sped away. The Trooper then alerted other officers that he was in pursuit and the direction they were headed.

Another officer in the area placed spike strips down at mile marker 129 near Brinker.

The woman struck the spikes and came to a stop in the left lane. She was then arrested and charged with evading arrest.

Her bond is set at $10,000.
