Dallas Truck Driver Faces Human Smuggling Charges After Reports Of People Running From Back Of Semi

A Dallas man is facing federal charges for his role in smuggling illegal immigrants into the US.
Aron Bernard Griffin,49, appeared in a U.S. Federal Court Thursday, facing charges of smuggling illegal immigrants into the U.S.
Several people called 911 after they saw multiple people inside the back of a trailer Griffin was driving.
Officers pulled the trailer over at a San Antonio gas station near Interstate 10.
Authorities found several illegal immigrants inside the trailer and detained them at the scene.
Griffin allegedly admitted to Agents that he made an agreement with another individual to pick up the immigrants in Laredo and transport them to San Antonio in return for money.
If Griffin is found guilty, he faces up to ten years in federal prison.
