Dallas Police Investigate Shooting After Man Found Dead in Vehicle

An investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death inside a vehicle Thursday night.

Around 9:40 p.m., a Dallas Police officer patrolling in the 800 block of South Munger Avenue came across a vehicle that appeared to have been involved in an accident.

Initial investigations revealed that the driver had been shot inside the vehicle by an unknown assailant. Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at the scene and transported the victim, identified as 41-year-old Tony Mosley, to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators later confirmed that the shooting occurred in a parking lot located in the 5000 block of East Grand Avenue.

At this time no arrest have been made. This remains an ongoing investigation.
