A 50-year-old man was discovered with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle over the weekend.Dallas police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, in the 3600 block of Dixon Avenue.
Officers arrived to find that a disturbance had occurred at the scene, during which unidentified suspects began firing shots. It was later determined that a vehicle had crashed shortly afterward, with Danyeal Garrett, 50, found shot inside.
Garrett was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Dallas police are actively investigating the incident.
