Dallas PD Enforcing Juvenile Curfew And Street Racing During Labor Day Weekend

Dallas Pd is collaborating with the City’s business partners to conduct a special initiative program to enforce juvenile curfews along with street racing.
The enforcement will begin on Friday September 4 and will last three weeks.
The enforcement will cover Deep Ellum, West End, Farmers Market, Uptown, Victory Park and Cedars Neighborhood and will be in place for juveniles under 17 from 12:01am to 6am on Friday and Saturday and from 11pm to 6am on Sunday.
Juveniles who are caught violating the ordinance will be detained by officers until properly identified.
They will then be released to a parent or guardian or transported to the Letot Center.
Those caught street racing will be fine, gicnen a citation or jailed.
