786views

On October 13, Daniel Jenkins, 22, was given more than 23 years in federal prison for targeting gay users of the dating app Grindr. Three other people had been charged in the case, too.

Noted in documents, Jenkins confirmed that he did, in fact, plan to attack nine Dallas men, at various times. He did so by abducting, carjacking, and committing hate acts again them. This was a result of his belief that these men were gay.

At the end of 2017, a group of guys decided to get on the site and persuade gay males to come to a certain residence.

When those males got there, they had guns pointed at them and were commanded to drive to an atm to take their money out.

Jenkins and 3 other men teased the males, used gay slurs, and one of them planned to sexually assault one of the males.

Michael Atkinson received 11 years, Pablo Ceniceros-Deleon received 22, and Daryl Henry received 20 years in prison.
