Dallas Love Field Airport Shooter Released From Hospital and Booked Into County Jail
The woman who opened fire inside of Dallas Love Field Airport has been discharged from the hospital and is booked into Dallas County Jail.
38-year-old Portia Odufuwa exited a red Kia parked in the airport parking lot and went to the bathrooms inside of the airport on July 25. When she exited, she was wearing a black hoodie and had a gun in her front pocket.
She then began shooting in the air, near the ticket counter, while ranting about personal problems she was dealing with.
After pointing her gun at a Love Field Officer, she was shot multiple times. She was taken into police custody and transported to an area hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Now, after being in the hospital for 3 weeks, Odufuwa was released from the hospital and taken to the Dallas County Jail.
She is charged with Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant. Her bond has been set at $500,000.
