Dallas Capital Murder Suspect Recaptured After Being Released On Bond And Going On The Run

5.3kviews

A Dallas fugitive that cut off his ankle monitor and went on the run minutes after being released on probation has been captured.

James Moore was arrested in 2019 for his role in the murder of a Dallas restaurant owner.

Last Monday Dallas prosecutors told the judge they weren’t ready for trial and Judge Ernest White lowered Moore’s bond from $500,000 to only $1,000.

Following the lower bond Judge White placed Moore on house arrest with an ankle monitor.

The day after being released Moore’s GPS tracking device emitted a “tamper” alert.

Authorities were quickly notified and as of Thursday afternoon Moore was located in northwest Dallas. No further details have been released.
