2.2kviews

A KFC employee was shot by a customer in the drive thru after the customer became upset about them being out of corn.

The incident happened on Monday December 12 at the KFC on Delmar Boulevard, in the city’s Central West End, shortly after 6 p.m.

Apparently the male suspect tried to order corn with his food order in the drive thru and when employees informed him that they were out, he became upset.

The unknown suspect argued with the employees before driving to the drive thru window with a gun. A 25 year old employee went to speak with the customer when they got shot.

The employee was driven to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Authorities are waiting to speak with the victim so they can try to get a description of the suspect.

This investigation remains ongoing.
