Crowley ISD, in Texas, is investigating a matter related to a teacher taking off a student’s cap.

The incident occured at the North Crowley Ninth Grade location on Nov. 9.

On a Facebook post, Jessica Scroggins discussed the phone call she received from her son, Bremon Scroggins, on that day.

“Hey, mom, this teacher pulled my hair out of my head,” Jessica noted that her son said to her. The mother shared that she was in disbelief.

Bremon said that the teacher had requested that he remove his beanie, and he confessed that he didn’t immediately comply.

He added that the teacher then came over to him saying, “If you don’t take it off, then I will take it off for you and escort it to the office.”

Bremon said that the teacher then reached over, attempting to remove the cap from his hair. He added that things escalated quickly as he tried to pull his cap down, and the teacher kept pulling it.

Although he hadn’t felt it, Bremon said that one of his peers had informed him that two of his dreadlocks were on the floor. Weeks later, Bremon can now be seen with a bald spot.

Jessica has stated that no matter the reason, no one should touch her child. She is now looking for an apology from the teacher and wants him permanently removed from the school.

Crowley ISD has noted that the teacher has been placed on administrative leave, and an investigation is on-going.

These sorry parents couldn’t teach these kids during covid they better leave these techers alone. This student and the parents are wrong!!!!!! I hope this teacher fights this and sue the parents and school and then leave.
