A UK couple has been arrested after a video was posted to social media of them giving a baby a shot, of what appeared to be, vodka.
The video was posted to Facebook and it showed a woman believed to be the child’s mother pouring what appeared to be a vodka bottle into a cap. She is then seen tilting the baby’s head back as she pours the drink in the baby’s mouth.
A man who is believed to be the child’s father is seen standing in the background while all this is going on.
Authorities were called to a home in Dover for a disturbance. Upon arrival, they were made aware of concerns for a child at an address in the area.
A man and woman were both arrested on suspicion of child cruelty.
The investigation is ongoing.
